So I finally Decided to update the blog, hopefully I can get to it more. But I do have a couple important things.

1. I have released several new videos in the past weeks that I have forgot to mention, so here is a list of them if you feel like checking them out:

2. So what is in the works? Well, Warthog Training Episode 7 has been submitted and should be up some time next week, and Martin has something to say finally. I am also working on Payload Episode 4, Valor Pt.3, Demolition Squad Episode 1, and a secret Gmod Series.


So I will eventually get to everything, Its not the easiest thing to do ya know.

First, I got my new computer finally and pumped it up with an EVGA Nvidia 9800 gtx+.

So that means everything is back on track.

WT 6

Well, HERE is Episode 6 of Warthog Training Titled "The Artifact".

Kinda a slow episode, but is going to set up for an.....explosive seventh. hehehe

Good News and BAd news

Ok, So I have a little good and bad news.

Good news, Warthog Training Episode 6 is finished and will be up on saturday. The Episode is a little slower than the others, but is setting up the story to be awesome in the next few episodes.


Bad news, I have to put Payload on hold for a little bit, The reason being, my computer sucks and is running out of HDD space. The way I was recording just wasnt doing it, the visuals were terrible since I had to lower my settings as well as no antialiasing, as well as being at dxlevl 8. So this wouldnt bother me too much, but the recording method I was using was hogging Hardrive space, meaning 1 shot about 10 seconds long was 1gb in size. So ya, not enough room left to do it.

I will be getting my new computer by the end of the month, maybe sooner, so its not that long, plus it gives mrdougan a little break from faceposing.

Also, will be doing some random gmod stuff and such since I got it working.

Aftermath

Hey Everyone,

Episode 1 of Payload is out, and I have to say I am very happy with the feedback. The episode itself was a bit choppy courtesy of my computer, but I am just happy its out.

Now this brings me to episode 2, mrdougan is hard at work on the vcd files(forgot to mention to tell him hes awesome because of the incredible job he did on epiosde 1). I have already finished a very good portion of the acting thanks to some helpful fans. So I have 2 more quick scenes to act out, and as soon as I get the vcds, I can capture those and edit it all together. This episode will own people.

I will try and update this blog alot more, as well as other sites.

Ok, so there have been many things I need to say. First off, I have 2 videos that are in the process of going up, one is a Warthog training PSA which explains why I need to delay it. And the second is a teaser for my new upcoming series called "Payload", which will be filmed in the Team Fortress 2 Engine.

I will be using alot of source engines from now on, as well as halo and cod4.

The collab is still moving steady, and will be done soon.

A Long Detailed Post

Ok, So I decided to put together a pretty long and semi detailed post telling you what is all happening right now. The reason I don't post here as often is because of my laziness and I use my twitter and facebook pages to give minor updates on what I am doing. So go check those out If you want up to the date status reports and such.

As for projects, Ill start with Warthog Training. Episode 5 is going to be the biggest and best episode yet. Since I was in illinois for the past few days, I was able to really work on the script, which means its longer and a few more hidden jokes in it. This episode will have several special effects that will also be pretty cool. Also, my friend mrdougan(Expert of all that is source) will be joining the voice cast and adding his faceposing talents with his Half Life 2 models including a Halo Civillian skin that he has been working for the past month or so. This will be something that really adds to the uniqueness of the show, plus everyone will have acess to the skin under a CC liscence after I release the episode. As for my other voices, stevie why, the voice of daz and smith, is having computer problems, which is preventing him from doing his voices. So he may hold up the episode until he finishes. Plus, Sniper2477, the voice of martin, is gone for a few months, so I had to improv on the voiceing situation. But dont worry, the happy juice will still be a pivitol role in the series, even if he cant scream it. So thats about it for Warthog Training, expect a longer than usual, and more interesting storyline. Should be interesting.

Since I have a few set backs, I may film and submit something before I finish episode 5 of WT. So it may either be a Farcry 2 machinima, cod4, or Halo 3 short. I have no Idea though, Its a big maybe.

Another big project that is going down is the collab project between me, and the Ro4ch from projectrooster. But we have also taken on a very pivitol 3d animator who is designing some models for us, you may know him as LemurGimmick. We have also brought on some very talented voices for the project, CK from Euphorian Filmers, Darknal from Dark creations, and MCQ22. Thats about all I want to release about the project, we are doing some super advanced things that hopefully turn out to make one of the best halo machinimas ever.

So thats about all I have for this super update, The parody contest is still runnning, so make your parodies of one of my shows for a chance to be on my friends list or something.

Warthog Training 3

Hey, I uploaded Episode 3 of Warthog Training which means it should go up in a few days. It went together pretty well, so It should be a laugh.

First off, I have completed and uploaded a Gears of War 2 Short I randomly thought up, so expect that within the next couple of days.

Second, I have begun working on the pilot of Zephyr.(I may scrap it completely if something doesnt go right.)

Third, I am also in the beginning stages of Episode 3 of Warthog training.

So ya, thats what to expect.

I have also finished the Halo Community live short, so that will be premiering at the event.

The usual update

Ok, So I just submitted Warthog Training Episode 2 to machinima, and it should be up in a few days.

So now I will be finishing the short I am creating for the Halo Community Live event which will premier whenever thats gonna be. I will then Submit Episode 7 of suppressor with a quick season 1 wrap up at the beginning.

This leads me onto Zephyr which I can tell is gonna be annoying simply for the reason that I have a very vague idea of what I am doing with it. Should be interesting.

Community Game night should be soon, keep a look out for it.

So, a couple quick updates.

As far as machininmas, I have a halo short that should be up very soon which should leave people asking "what was that?". I am also putting the finishing touches on the second Episode of Warthog Training which I will submit as soon as I finish it. So I think I will start to put together a pilot Episode for Zephyr next while I figure out what kind of season 1 wrap up I should do for suppressor.

I am also putting together a Director Game night that will have me, NinjaAdventures, Sniper2477, and Ze Royal Viking. Be on a look out for an announcement video so you know how to enter.

I am also gonna try a contest in the near future, so stay tuned.

New Project

Ok, So for some reason the first Episode of Warthog Training isnt up yet, I dont know why, but It should be up in the next couple of days. Anyway, I have dropped everything else now and have began to create my short for the next Halo Community Live event. Im not sure of the date of the event, but I was informed that they are accepting submissions so I just decided to get it done now.
So Everything else will be temporarily stalled until I finish this.
Also, I plan to do a contest, so keep an eye on my channel for a video explaining everything.

Sorry I have not updated this as much as I used to, Im just busy.

Anyway, Warthog Training Episode 1 should be up very soon, like today or tommorow.

I have also been making episode 2 as I am waiting for stuff, To tell you the truth, I am kind of setting down everything else down while I get this series rolling in the right direction.
I also have to figure out some way to release Suppressor to machinima without having to completly redo the audio.

But In the future I have a couple plans for a COD4 and even a Gears 2 machinima short.

Well, Since suppressor is taking a bit longer to plan than I originally thought(mrdougan's computer difficulties, My overall Laziness, Stevie why with no internet...The list could go on), I have decided to do another short of some sort. But the short is not important, Suppressor Is gonna have some incredible plot twists and some sweet special effects this season. I really hope everyone will enjoy it. So now you know to expect a short before the next episode of suppressor, I don't have any Idea whats it gonna be about, or what game engine.

Ok, I just released the second trailer for zephyr which you can view here. 

Why is it just a trailer instead of the pilot? Well, I decided that If I am going to do a series for cod4 right, I need some time to sort it all out. This way, by march I will be done with Suppressor and I will be free to take my time to do zephyr right.

Suppressor is now underway.

New Idea

Welllll, I have been doing alot lately. I have decided to postpone zephyr for about a week and since Ive been doing a ton of Halo 3, I will do something in cod 4. It will be either SNGD 5 or something similar until I can finish the zephyr pilot. I think you get it though. so as far as releases it goes as follows:

1.Cod4 Comedy short

2.Zephyr Pilot

3.Suppressor Season 2 Episode 1

4.Warthog Training Pilot

I am also messing around with adobe after effects, which is a blast, So expect to see some effects in these episodes.

Recent Events

Ok, I have decided to just upload my halo 3 short since its done. I will be doing the pilot episode for Zephyr instead of that COD4 short I promised. So I think I should have that up by next week, And after that, it will be time to start up Suppressor Season 2.  I better not get any messages asking me to do a cod4 movie, because Its coming, and Im taking my time so It comes out awesome.

Ok, here is a quick snapshot of my current Halo 3 short Im putting together. Im hiring someone to do the voice over for it so It should turn out pretty awesome. Im not going to release this until I do a cod4 short just to be fair to all the COD4 fans because Ive been doing alot of Halo recently.  Thats it for now. Ohh, I also have a machinima tutorial thing I will release after the cod4 and halo shorts are released.

New stuff

As most people have seen, The last ever episode of inside Spartacus is up. 

ANyway, I have a couple things planned before I start making series. First off, I am about to release the suppressor Season 2 teaser, the bad part is, Im delaying the season for another 3 weeks or so Until season 1 can be released. I also have a short Machinima tips video that alot of people are going to find helpful for making their own machinimas. I will release that a couple days after the teaser for season 2. And, I am also making a Halo 3 short that I am investing alot of time(money) into, So you guys better enjoy it. Warthog training will begin shortly and will be next in line after all I have mentioned will be released. Zephyr will start sometime in febuary.

Hey, In case you are wondering, I removed all the videos on my channel which have copyrighted material in them. Why? I just want to avoid any future conflicts. I will redo audio on videos I think should be back up there and eventually reupload them. I also audio swapped a couple of the videos so They could stay up. Recap of 2008 and The Plan for 2009

Well, Its been a very good year. I started making machinima when I got my capture card on April 18th 2008. I have to admit that I never saw myself getting this far as a director. I really think that this is something I will continue with for a while and maybe even Go to film school and see where I go from there. I have really enjoyed making movies for everyone, and hope that you continue to support me. Happy New Year!!

NOW for 2009: I have so much planned that I am almost overwhelmed with ideas. But let me take this one at a time, Firts of all, Some of my goals for this year are to get some more recognition for all my machinimas, Improve as a Director/Editor, and even get more advanced equiptment to make my movies more impressive. Second of all, I need to sort out what Im going to do with Suppressor. Many of you know that I have arranged with Gear(http://www.youtube.com/fbwalshyftw) to release all of season 1 of suppressor on his youtube channel to get a wider audience watching it. As soon as he finishes releasing them, I will Post the Suppressor Season 2 teaser and start Season 2. He will also be posting these on his channel in accordance to when I post them. Which means they will be released at the same time so I dont have to make the videos private until he posts them like I had to do with season 1. This may be the last season for suppressor, but thats not final.
And on the same subject of halo, I have still Planned to make Warthog Training, which will give me a chance to have some fun with making a comedy and such. This series will be released rather sparsley comapared to my other series because It will be a number 2 priority. I may also throw in a couple Halo shorts and such If I feel like it.

And now For COD4.
I have so many series planned that I have been forced to cancel Robot Donkey which will be replaced by random comedy shorts that I feel like doing. I also plan to do random episodes of Search N Get Destroyed which I hope will continue for a while. I also have to plan out a season of Zephyr which will be an incredibly intensive show consiidering what I have to do to make it look like its not something that I rushed through. So dont expect it to be made that often, I think that I may delay it until I get into season 2 of suppressor. And Like halo, I may do random comedy and Action shorts along the way.

Another announcement is that If you havnt already noticed, I have been royalty free music lately to avoid any copyright conflicts. In the end I may even remove all of my videos that contain copyright issues and apply for a youtube partnership. I may take them down, and redo the audio so I can put it back up. I will see if I feel like it.
One last thing, I plan to do Commentary for Suppressor that I will post on my secondary youtube account http://www.youtube.com/spartacus280 If you have any requests for commentary, send me a message and ill do it.

Well, We will see what happens this year.
